| Sentinel India, a comprehensive financial planning services provider, is a brain child of Surinder Singh, an industry veteran with three decades of experience in wealth management. When starting as a Career Agent with Life Insurance Corporation in 1979, despite a flourishing family business and excellent academics, all he had was a will to pursue an independent career and a fire in his belly to meet the challenges that the new entrants faced in the industry, which was still at its infancy.
Continuously meeting the high targets year after year saw him climbing to new heights in the insurance world. In 1990, he qualified for the first time & was the 2nd ever to qualify from the Northern Zone for Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) - USA which is the premier association of financial professionals. On course to repeating the feat 17 more times, he also became a life member.
The fact that he has been actively involved in formation and development of LIRT (life insurance round table) in the country since 1989 and later served as a zonal president for the same in the year 1991-92 speaks volumes not just about his caliber, but also his ability to see things in a broader perspective for the overall insurance industry. No wonder, today he is one of the few empowered agents authorized by LIC to issue renewal premium receipts from his own office.
Also a certified member of AMFI (Association of Mutual Funds in India), Surinder Singh has a long list of clients, who have seen their portfolios managed by him to successfully meet their investment goals. With the clarity and verve for which he is famed today, many have trusted his advice in matters concerning the volatile world of finance, where a handful of individual financial barons determine the fates of millions and where a euphoria in the market sometimes end in a nasty surprise.
